On all our minds…
There are still flashbacks around here to a blizzard some 30 years ago, when the weatherman said “flurries” and the snow closed the interstate for days. Around here, “flurries” means “stock up on milk and bread.”
I can’t even find my old winter boots. But we have snow on the ground in Annapolis, MD and more on the way.
All the rain a week after we thawed out, gave me flashbacks to the Biblical deluge we had from Hurricane Harvey, and my rant afterwards that I wanted to go somewhere where the annual rainfall is measured in fractions of an inch, not FEET!
